Prison Reform Meets Hip Hop Pioneers – A New Era

A new era of hip hop has come where we interchange artists with social justice advocates and influencers. Multi-platinum artist Yo Gotti, with regards to recent police brutality, have decided to team up with Meek Mill and REFORM ALLIANCE.

The Direct mission of REFORM ALLIANCE is :

” The mission of the REFORM Alliance is to dramatically reduce the number of people who are unjustly under the control of the criminal justice system – starting with probation and parole. To win, we will leverage our considerable resources to change laws, policies, hearts and minds. “

Yo Gotti states that he wants to aid in fixing prison systems and their harsh conditions, police brutality, and the overall criminal justice system. Well, known artists such as Jay-Z also has hopped on board in the effort to help make it a safer place for civilians during this unrest time.

The New Era doesn’t stop there. Gotti has always been down!

Due to unfit living conditions in correctional facilities in Mississippi, Yo Gotti has been involved in taking legal action to change that. This era of artists using their platform to reach back to communities that they were once apart of and lets supremacists know that we all stand in unity.

 

New Music, New Outlook. Yo Gotti Slated to drop new music this Friday

Yo Gotti, while working with REFORM ALLIANCE  has still been in the studio dropping his southern slang hits. With new music on the way, his fans are anticipating a video that shows the climate of what he truly believes when it comes to police brutality and prison reform.
