The new Travis Scott single features a cover by My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy artist.
Despite not releasing a full-length album since 2018’s Astroworld, Travis Scott has remained on a musical roll recently. Earlier this week he announced to his social media followers that he is releasing a new song titled “Franchise” this Friday (September 25).
The new song follows collaborative singles with Tenet and Black Panther composer Ludwig Göransson (“The Plan“), Kanye West (“Wash Us In Blood“), Rosalia (“TKN”), Kid Cudi (“THE SCOTTS”), Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, Luxury Tax, and Scott’s DJ Chase B (JACKBOYS)…. and of course McDonald’s.
Scott also listed pre-orders to the song via his website, which can be purchased as a CD, cassette, or digital single.
MBDTF artist George Condo provided the artwork for the track.
Travis Scott is nothing but consistent, and something that never seems to change is his use of visual artists who have previously collaborated with Kanye West. George Condo is the man responsible for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’s distinct, blocky visual art, and he is now bringing his art skills to La Flame.
“I’m been up stairs cheifing (sic) them tunes! Condo Been downstairs painting with da wine on tilt,” said Scott on Twitter.

George Condo grew up in the New York City art scene as an assistant to Andy Warhol, and friend to Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Jack Kerouac.
In an interview with Hypebeast in 2017, Condo commented on what it was like to work with Kanye West. “He demands perfection from his crew and I’m very much into this perfectionist thing, so we hit it off really well. We both complained about everyone and how we were the only ones that know what we’re doing in our own sphere of whatever it is that we’re working on. It was really easy to work with a guy like that.”
Maybe Condo will have some influence on the design of Travis Scott’s next full-length project. For now, check out Scott’s last single from Christopher Nolan’s mind-bending movie, Tenet.
