MEGAN THE STALLION MAKES SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE DEBUT WITH CHRIS ROCK

Megan The Stallion‘s week of life-time achievements continues. Honored in Time Magazine’s The 100 Most Influential People in the World of 2020 on Tuesday (September 22). Thursday (September 24), it’s announced the “Savage” hitmaker will be the musical guest for the long-running NBC show Saturday Night Live’s Season 46 premiere.

As a musical guest, Megan will perform selected hits between sketches. Her SNL setlist is currently unknown. The appearance builds interest in the highly-anticipated Megan debut album arranged for a Fall release under 1501 Certified Entertainment/300 Entertainment.

Megan joins a shortlist of past Hip Hop acts to perform in front of the live studio audience, including notable mentions, Drake, Kanye West and Eminem. The season opener will be a live broadcast and sees the return of the full cast with additional surprise guests.

2020 has been a rollercoaster year for the Houston native. This year alone, she’s created iconic collaborations with Beyonce, Nicki Minaj and Chance The Rapper. While producing chart-topping hits, solo, like “B.I.T.C.H.,” “Captain Hook,” and the current Cardi B-featured “WAP.” Most recently, “WAP” achieved Megan her second global #1 of the year on Billboard. Last August in the Hollywood Hills, Megan The Stallion and chart-topping recording artist, Tory Lanez, were named in a shooting following a party hosted by Kylie Jenner.

Earlier this month, Megan released a new freestyle which spoke on her shooting incident involving Tory Lanez. Megan was a victim of the high-profile incident in which she suffered a gunshot wound to the foot.

The season premiere host is the legendary comedic actor and former SNL cast member, Chris Rock. Saturday Night Live Season 46 premiere aires Saturday, October 3 on NBC.
