ASAP Ferg Dropped From ASAP Mob

ASAP Mob founding member, ASAP Illz, took to Instagram to announce the beef with Ferg.

ASAP Mob’s most consistent member is out. A$AP Illz, who co-founded the Mob with A$AP Yams back in 2006, went on an Instagram tirade on Monday (Aug. 31) claiming that “Ferg ain’t ASAP NO MORE sorry guys… That n***a burnt out, songs dumb trash Mr anthem cant get right.”

“They Been calling me The Golden Child for years now and it’s not for no reason…..I been him,” he wrote. “Damn right I ain’t no yes man but you n*ggas don’t respect that shit. y’all rather have a n*gga who’s not even half way on my level around just cause he a Yes man and do Whatever you want at the snap of your fingers sit goofy.”

Illz also posted a screenshot of one supporter’s comment on his post that said: “If u a supporter of the mob from day one, u would see that Ferg lowkey became a snake ? this ain’t know surprise tho ?”.

While Ferg has not yet commented on his dismissal, A$AP Bari seemingly confirmed it in the comments section of the above post. “He said what he said,” wrote Bari. “@asvpxillz started ASAP If It Wasn’t Him It Wouldn’t Have Been No ASAP Mob So [Hail] A$AP Illz.”

It is unclear whether Ferg will keep the ASAP moniker, or pull a Cordae and drop it.

Ferg keeping busy.

Despite the apparent drama, Ferg is keeping to the grind. In the last month his song “Move Ya Hips” with Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO racked up over 30 million streams, he appeared on the new Nas album, and over the weekend the “Plain Jane” rapper released a new song with Lil Wayne and Jay Gwuapo. The song’s title, “No Ceilings”, is an ode to the Tunechi mixtape of the same name which released to streaming services for the first time last weekend as well.

Meanwhile, ASAP Mob hasn’t released a project in over three years.
